Sadly, the increase in diabetes diagnosis’ doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. While it can be managed, if left un treated it can cause a whole host of long term health issues so finding out sooner, is definitely the way to go. Some people won’t notice the symptoms, especially if they have been living with them for a long time but here are a few to remember if you think you might have diabetes.
1. Hunger and fatigue
Diabetes is your body’s inability to either produce glucose or absorb it so it makes sense that you would be tired since you aren’t essentially getting any energy from the food you are eating.
If you’ve noticed recently that you are persistently hungry or tired, it could be a sign of diabetes.
